Make Dairy-free Island Cookies

Baking with kids is a great way to promote language development as well as engage children and support the development of their important life skills. Here is a great recipe for dairy free cookies that can be baked almost anywhere in the world!

What you need:

1 cup coconut oil.
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

What to do:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Cream the coconut oil and sugar. Add egg and mix well.
Add flour to bowl, then sprinkle sea salt and baking power evenly over the surface of dry ingredients. Mix.

Scoop batter onto two trays.
Bake for 8 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
